Who is MB?

Great question! I'm Michael Benedict. I was made and manufactured in mid-Michigan. Currently, I work as a web developer at the Chicago Department of Public Health. After moving to Chicago to pursue a career in sound design, I found myself pivoting into UX design, eventually serving as the Director of Strategy at an award-winning agency. Since then, I've ventured off on my own with a colleague to pursue more challenging work with our new agency called Tractatus Design Studio. We've garnered clients from all over the country, making progressive websites and working with new-media artists, restaurant groups, sound studios, and so on. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to build progressive content, as well as design in .threeJS, AR, and VR environments. As a digital designer, I welcome any opportunity to work with new people, and collaborate to create a visceral, memorable user experience.
